A beef skewer and a chicken skewer cooked over the charcoal grill, with roasted tomato and peppers. The dish that best sums up Pérsico’s Persian grill.
What is Vaziri?
In Iran, charcoal-grilled kebab is the heart of the table, and vaziri is the way to order two at once: a beef skewer and a chicken skewer served together on the same plate. At Pérsico we serve it with roasted tomato and peppers, just as it is done in Iran.
The Persian grill
Pérsico’s kebabs are cooked on an Iranian charcoal grill. Saffron, which we bring from Khorasan, flavours the skewers and the rice. The result is juicy meat with a smoky taste and balanced spices: Persian food is not spicy.
What to order with it
Other skewers from the grill
- Bonab de Rubia Gallega: Galician beef skewer with saffron
- Joojeh Safruni: chicken marinated in saffron and lemon
- Torsh Joojeh: chicken marinated in pomegranate, Persian herbs, garlic and walnuts
- Grilled octopus
